Hinder plays the Backyard Amphitheater this Saturday, October 3. It is the latest date on a concert calendar that has quietly turned Green Valley Ranch Resort's poolside venue into one of the busiest small rooms in Henderson this year, with Grace Potter, Vertical Horizon and Tonic, and The Band Perry all having already come through since July. The resort's movie theater is still mid-remodel, with no completion date confirmed.
Station Casinos announced a property-wide overhaul that includes suites and convention halls. Dining and entertainment options have opened while larger construction phases remain underway.
The renovation proceeded in phases, with different parts of the property opening at different times.
The West Tower went first. All 71 suites and 422 rooms in that wing were redone, with the finished collection unveiled in stages between January and March 2026, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Renovated rooms start at $264 a night and suites from $389.
Next came the meeting and convention space, 69,000 square feet of it, along with a brand-new outdoor venue called The Lawn, unveiled between May and June 2026. The Lawn hosts weddings and corporate events for 50 to 250 guests. Useful if you're planning a reception.
The Regal Theatre remodel was originally targeted for completion in the second quarter of 2026. As of this writing in late September, no completion has been announced. The theater has stayed open through the phased work, according to 8 News Now, but the new recliner seating, upgraded projection, and craft-beverage bar promised for the lobby haven't been confirmed as finished.
Behind all of it, the East Tower and South Lobby renovations are still underway and are expected to stretch into 2027, with Station Casinos putting the cost of that phase at an additional $56 million on top of the original $200 million. The property-wide work is expected to continue into 2027.
While the hotel side of the renovation worked through its schedule, the resort's food hall picked up two new tenants without much ceremony. Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill and Polaris Casino Bar are both open now, folded in alongside the resort's existing dining roster: Hank's Fine Steaks & Martinis, Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca, Borracha Mexican Cantina, and Pizza Rock by Tony Gemignani.
Two more additions were announced with a spring 2026 target: Irv's Burgers, a transplant of the Los Angeles roadside stand known for a no-frills burger, and Nielsen's Frozen Custard, a Las Vegas name already familiar to locals from its other valley locations, both planned for the resort's food hall. Neither would require a room reservation, an event booking, or a special occasion. They were presented as the kind of additions that could show up on a Tuesday because you were already there, not because you planned a trip around them.
The Backyard Amphitheater holds about 4,000 people between its covered pavilion and lawn seating. It's not new construction. What's new is how packed its 2026 calendar got.
Since July, the venue has hosted or scheduled:
The 2026 calendar lists four shows between July and October at a venue built for an intimate set, not a stadium crowd. The stage was already there. What changed was the booking calendar.
A concert calendar and a theater remodel run on different clocks. Booking a show fills a date on the schedule, while the theater remodel is one phase in a multiyear construction sequence that spans the whole property.
The West Tower is done. The convention space and The Lawn are open and booking events. Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill and Polaris Casino Bar are open; Irv's Burgers and Nielsen's Frozen Custard had been announced with a spring 2026 target. The East Tower and South Lobby work is still underway.
The theater remodel was originally targeted for completion in the second quarter of 2026; as of late September, no completion had been announced. East Tower and South Lobby work is expected to continue into 2027.
For now, the food hall has more options than it did a year ago, and the Backyard has a concert calendar worth checking before making weekend plans. The Regal Theatre remodel remains underway.
